This session gives you a Questioning and Thinking Toolbox for structured conversations to accelerate the relationship between you and your mentee.

The key to increasing the thinking and problem solving in your organization, as well as growing the bond between the mentee and mentor, is to structure some of the sessions where both mentor and mentee can benefit from the time spent and gain new insights into the way they see the business.

Focusing on “change partners” or “thinking pairs” where together the mentor and mentee generate new thinking in particular areas. This will bring a new dimension to your Mentor Programme.

Many businesses embark on a Mentorship Programme, but struggle to find the benefit as the relationships take so long to form and the mentors are not sure how to use the programme to impact business success. This half day interactive online session is for Mentors who want to accelerate their relationship with a mentee, to get the impact desired.

Sheila Forte-Trammell, IBM’s Chief Global Mentoring Officer helped develop and build IBM’s world renowned mentoring program. She shares that in addition to Emotional Intelligence, we need content that includes ideas for recognizing patterns, making connections, taking risks, challenging assumptions, taking advantage of chance, and seeing in new ways. She adds that mentoring prevents the “us vs. them” syndrome, and how a mentoring program can bring harmony to generational differences.
